On the 26th of June, 2008, 18 year old Mitchell House was involved in a very
horrific accident after driving into a herd of black Angus cows at around 2.00am in the morning on his way to work. After an amazing miracle Mitchell survived the accident and is now in the ICU at the Royal Hobart Hostpital on a very long road to recovery with his parents, Michelle & Rodney by his side every minute. They are 5 hours away from home and not able to work for quite some time while he is still in such a serious condition SO I have come together with some very AMAZING designers to bring you this HUGE collab/charity kit to help raise some funds to financially help ease some of the burdens they have in front of them.
Can you believe that list of designers? This kit is just insanely great! You will not believe the contents when you download- just make sure you settle in with a cuppa, the download is humongous! I seriously cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful this kit is, at just $aud15, it’s a crazy price, and what a great opportunity to do something to help someone else. Take a look at what Tara’s CT girls did with this kit- and please note, we all thought the kit was sooooooooo fab that we bought it! Yep, paid money for it, and happily, mind you!

I have come together with some pretty AMAZING and TALENTED designers to bring you all this MASSIVE Charity Collab Kit, Live Life Loud for some dear friends of my Husband and I.

On Thursday the 26th of June our friends Michelle and Rodney House’s 18 year old son, Mitchell was on his way to work around 2.00am in the middle of the night, pitch black, raining and gale force winds when he drove straight into a herd of black Angus cows on the road. The cows had been spooked by the storms that had been going on throughout the night and had wandered out onto the highway where poor Mitch struck them. He was rushed to the Burnie Hospital until he was in a stable enough condition and then he was flown down to the Royal Hobart Hospital, where his condition worsened. Mitch received very severe injuries in the accident and if you go to the following link you will see the write up in The Advocate newspaper that was released the day after the accident: CLICK HERE to see the article.

As you can see from the picture of his car it was very severe. His injuries include, a broken neck, broken collarbone, broken ribs, severe head trauma, bruised organs, punctured both lungs, smashed his lower half, smashed his face & jaw, smashed all of his teeth in, and the list goes on. But as each day passes it means there is more and more hope. In the past 3 weeks he has been taken out of the induced coma and is now breathing by himself, he opened his eyes the other day but there is no reaction so far but he reacts to noise so that is positive step. He has a very very long healing process to go through and not only him but his parent’s will be there each step of the way. As traumatizing and emotionally draining as it is and will continue to be for some time.

His poor parents, Michelle and Rodney have not left his side once and they are 5 and a half hours away from home and starting to feel the financial struggle and this is where their friends, family and the community are coming to help. I suggested that I could try and help out in some way and as scrapping is my love I thought I would try and get a fundraising/charity kit together with some awesome designers and I have got 30 gorgeous girls who have stepped in to help me raise as much as we can to help Michelle and Rodney stay by Mitchell’s side.

My heart is breaking for them and if you could add Mitchell into your prayers and/or thoughts I know they will help so very much. Thank You

Hello all, Jenna (Sweeet) here with this week’s SWEEET Pick! I really love doing my job and yanno why?! I love the feeling I get when I know I am putting a huge smile on one’s face when approaching them with this news about being featured.  I know I get all oogly googly when that happens to me personally….so ladies/gents…PLEASE keep up the gorgeous works…I always have my eyes peeled open to finding the next week’s Sweeet Pick!

So, onto this week’s….I know there are times I clutter it on within my pages, but it all seems to balance and not look cluttered. I’m such a freak when it comes to detail…I am surprised I haven’t gone bananas with my own quirkiness, but hey, it’s ME, that’s Jenna….what more can I say?! I will say this….I love me some clean, white space, negative pages and with that in mind, that is why I chose Lynn’s LO titled 13 months.  I love the black bracket matte atop the bright and loud fuschia background. It sings to me! And let’s not forget the adorable photo and details with her layering of elements…oh and the journaling too! I am no good at journaling…I do it when I feel like it *lol*..but Lynn does it well…you can just tell, LOOK/READ!

Yep, you read correctly. Since I didn’t come through with posting last week’s, I thought I’d make up for lost time. As most of you know, little league (All Stars tournaments, I should say) took me away from home, let alone the computer, so I apologize for my lack thereof, BUT I will definitely cut to the chase and get with it, whaddya say?!?!?
